We had an early Asda trip and got some breakfast from Grounded at the same time.

I then had a pretty wholesome day. Made these cookies which Pose got me for Christmas (delicious), and started a new embroidery project. I sewed while Matt slept through the rugby he insisted we watch.

In the evening we went over to the Standard for Maddy’s birthday drinks. Our table was right in the middle near the bar, so it was incredibly loud. I thought my voice might disappear again from shouting. We all decided that we’re too old now for anything other than a quiet pub garden.
