Or is that brolleys? 

Pretty wet today.

Managed two dry dog walks and a wet cycle to town.

Bought some dimmable light bulbs.  We have coolie lamp shades in our kitchen.  Two over the table have a dimmer switch.  However since the demise of incandescent bulbs new eco bulbs not only expire quickly but buzz annoyingly when switched on.  

The shop assistant in John Lewis advised that the switch needs to be altered to cope with eco bulbs.  It seemed ridiculous that everybody's switches had to be altered.  

The electrician who came yesterday advised me to install dimmable bulbs to remove the buzzing.  Why did the assistant in John Lewis give me a such a spiel?

Made a rhubarb cake this rainy afternoon.
