Botanical Gardens

Of the three famous gardens, this is the one that’s easiest to reach by public transport. There’s a choice of buses (29, 31….) and they are pretty frequent on weekdays.

It’s also the one with the fabulous view over the port and the ornate flowerbed with chequerboard and writing (see extra)

These terrapins were just by the exit and I thought they were sculptures until one moved…
