Eyeing eachother up

At Lake Ohau Lodge there were 3 wagons being pulled by 4 Clydesdale horses each, doing a slow trip through the MacKenzie country… looked like early settlers. This young Clydesdale and I looked deep into each others eye for several minutes. Still no idea what we were communicating
