Well and truly pot bound

We headed out into the garden first thing. B had a few jobs to do and I had loads to do, a few of which needed two pairs of hands. The outdoor garden box got a bit wet inside the other day, my fault, I left the lid open and it rained !!! Getting it emptied and turning it upside down to drain the water was a struggle. 

We sorted out the area behind the garage and prepared the big pots for potatoes, onions and carrots. I repotted some of the other plants that we brought with us. I’m not sure what is in this pot, there is a little new growth, but it’s not exactly leaping to life. I was horrified when I saw the extent of the root growth. But I’ve divided it into 4 plants and got rid of the surplus roots. 

I spent the afternoon doing online stuff, boring :0(
