CATI

Following on from yesterday's blip of the Memorial Bench at the Links Battery, Elena's mum, Cati has her name on the bench, too.
We quickly became friends with Cati when we moved next-door to her in Stromness.
Cati was popular here.  She had run a B&B, helped Elena at the Post Office and at another time owned and run the café at the pierhead.
Elena was still working full-time but my Husband and I were retired and so we often went out with Cati for lunch.  Here we are at the Merkister.
I am only 5'2" but I seemed to have been turned into a giant in this photo.  :o//
