Today was rainy so it was tricky to do a lot of things. But having dinner with friends is really great. Usually, this is the kind of thing adults do, I never dreamed I could reach this position where we’d be organising dinner at a nice restaurant for a catch-up and just good conversation.

I always thought this was relegated to adults and what adults do. I was thinking about having to sit at the kids table back in the day and learning how to socialise. It really isn’t that difficult but I’m truly lucky to have this opportunity and be able to do this with my loved one. I understand more and more each day the term, “time goes by when you least expect it.”
