Pay it forward

Was at a GlobalScot event in Edinburgh tonight and someone asked the speaker a question 1) that I'd never think to ask and 2) that turned out to be one of the more interesting and personal answers. It's stuck with me...

Q) What morals and ambitions are you instilling in your kids as they're growing up?

A)

1- to do their best
2- to be really really nice to people
3- to have fun

He also spoke a lot about doing good things for other people and paying it forward which resonated with me. An interesting night with interesting people.
