Grey Heron
There were no heron waiting when I arrived this morning. I made my way up the slope and waited. It wasn't long before the male from the clearing flew over. He was joined by the little female (pictured) and the almost adult with the dark crest and head. I had just started feeding them when the nervous juvenile landed. Alway tricky to feed him as he is very hesitant and gets beaten to anything I throw to him. I did get a few bits to him though. The other 3 followed on and I was back to 7 again.
The crows and the coot all got biscuits. I actually gave the coot a bit of fish which it ignored in favour of a biscuit.
The extra is Morag claiming my jacket for a bed.
