Blowing the wrong way

The wind has blown all day but the wrong way, against our normal direction so the backs of the leaves are showing. The whole of the county is being battered and twisted by this wind, which has dropped the temperatures and makes it cold at night, but like anything that gets thrown at us, we survive and adapt. The cats have taken to hiding inside watching out. My winter light woolens have appeared, and my thicker PJ's are the order of the day! Midsummer has past and the weather is making sure we know!
