Sunrise, Nervi

We had an early morning stroke along the walkway above the rocks to watch the sunrise then had a coffee at a cafe at a viewpoint. A very peaceful time if the day with a few people doing sport and some locals also watching the sunrise.

After breakfast, we visited the village of Recco a few minutes down the coast. The plan was to have some focaccia but we had to queue as many others had the same idea. But it was delicious.

We drive into Genoa for an afternoon performance of the opera, Indomeneo, which was fantastic. Then we said goodbye to our friends and started the long journey home but at least the roads were quiet.
