Elakala Falls

Another fun day at Blackwater Falls. This morning, we hiked to Lindy Point with some of our big group of 19, eight of whom are kids. The trail was much easier than our hike Friday afternoon because of the packed snow. At the overlook,  my SIL found a cave and went exploring. (We have hiked this trail every year for more than 20 years and have never before noticed this cave!) He made sure all was safe and then took both of his daughters inside for a tour. That was such a cool find! It was a fun experience to see the girls learn to explore.
After our hike, we went to Canaan Valley ski resort for tubing. It was fiercely cold with the wind, but the kids and their parents persevered. 
My husband and I watched from the bonfire below.
