Mistle Thrush #28
After a productive morning in the Butterfly House, I took a walk down the canal at Spike Island. The tide was out on the River, but we weren't in the mood to pore over the hundreds of gulls on the mud banks. The canal was very quiet bird wise - a few coots, some noisy, but hidden, little grebes, and three pairs of tufted ducks.
We don't often see Mistle Thrushes at Spike, so he is today's blip.
