Aquaduct in the fens

Out today and got a few pics but thought I would post this pic ofa main drain in the foreground with the metal structure being an aquaduct carrying the Outwell to Wisbech canal and then there is the road in the background with a boat behind a car curiously.

The pic illustrates the flatness of the fens by the clearance under the aquaduct of only a few centimetres.

There also used to be a tramway to Wisbech until the late 1960s that ran alongside the canal albeit from the centre of the village and not the outskirts shown here.
