A walk around Lindisfarne

Another bright sunny but very windy afternoon today and we crossed the causeway to Holy Island. We avoided the hoards of folk heading towards the Castle and did a 6 mile walk round part of the Island. So many beautiful views and beaches and flowers and whilst we were walking we could hear very odd noises which turned out to be coming from this Seal Colony! Really great walking and by the time we returned to the Castle and town area most of the other folk had departed as it was early evening!
