"I smell a rat!"

When you live in the country you can depend on your neighbors to help from time to time.  It is what country folks do at least around here.  This Maine Coon cat belongs to my neighbor down the road.  He heard of the rat problem and came to lend a helping paw.  He is sitting just above the place where Ratty pops out from time to time.  (See yesterday's extra photo.)  He sat there for a couple of hours, patiently waiting but Ratty did not appear.  Still, it is so nice to have kindly and helpful neighbors.  I hope he returns.
