Just as I was cooking the lunch at 11:30, I got a call from sister when she was my parents room after hearing sound of hitting. She found my dad on top of my mother hitting her bady and started to scream. It was then that the house help intervened to help as well. Father then began to cry and scream, shout and abuse back so did my sister and me from the phone. It was horrendous to say the least. I told my sister to go to her room as there is no point of engaging with that man in any manner.

Cut to 2:30 pm when I showered, I got a text message from my father suggesting something around taking his life and it made me anxious and worried. I called him and my sister. Sister didn't pick the phone and I imagined the worst and when she did, so did the father and turns out when she went to check on him, he was just on his bed and talking to me.

This all took so much toll on me. I wrote to my manager that somethng terrible has happened and he wrote back that I have his full support. ext, I told him that it was a false alarm without going into detail and he mentioned that he would like me to finish the work quite soon.

I had planned to go Tom's place to make some cookies today so decided to call that off and stay at home.
