F12berlinetta - come to daddy.....

You know you're getting old (or at least out of the car scene) when you see a Ferrari and have absolutely no idea which one it is. An F12berlinetta after quickly consulting Ferrari.com.

Sounded nice, but didn't look particularly quick for the noise it was making.

Today was another bike race, cue lots and lots of appalling driving, idiot cyclists, and dumbass bikers. But no crashes on my corner.

Had some woman in a big van ask me if I could move Goat so she could park there. Erm, no luv, I work here, Goat has my sign on it. We exchanged words. Flipping spectators had already two of my other corners so I wasn't about to let go of this corner.

I'll make precious little money as it is today as cycling groups don't really buy photos, and motorbikers think I'm there for the cyclists when i'm really there for them, so they don't bother buying either. I'm still a little jaded about 5,500 photos in 2 hours last year for one group and making $50 from it.

The pass (with the exception of 1500 cyclists) was deadly quiet though. Ended up quitting at 3pm when I decided that 15 minute gaps between traffic was starting to get old, and the temperature was starting to really get to me. My feet are still dreadfully cold. Practically couldn't feel my toes when I got in.

The wife said something to me, in her pre-apocalyptic way that she has - "have you got something to go under your trousers to keep you warm?" before we left Florida. I laughed and pointed out that Stelvio was in the 20s already. How I wish I had listened to her and picked up some long johns in Tesco two weeks ago.
