Ivy

It’s been nearly three weeks since I last saw Ivy.
I went in the day after I got back from holiday and then again today.
She’s not as bright as usual, has lost weight and is apparently not eating her meals. The staff can’t force her to eat so it’s a little bit upsetting to see.

She still had a few cheeky comments to say and smiled away at the fact that she is 106 years old. She said that she had forgotten how old she is .
We sat in silence for a while holding hands.
I’ll see her again during the week.
