A bit of a mess

Mr H came home yesterday and said the tree surgeons were in the garden when he got home (from the NE). We’d given our neighbour permission to tell them just to
Come in and do what they needed to do. They have done a good job of it and tidied up the eucalyptus debris well. My beautiful pittosporum in split in half down its main trunk and the low growing conifer has had all 4 limbs snapped off the main stem. Sad but I’d been thinking of changing things up a bit so this is my opportunity. I just need to be able to spend a weekend or two at home.

A lovely evening with Mr H last night and then I came back up north this morning and staying until Tuesday.

We should have been in Staines today at our friend’s 60th birthday party. I’d even bought myself a new dress! Miss H, G and the kids have gone to it but I am rather sad we haven’t made it. I’d been looking forward to it for months.
