Roll With It

A last one from the weekend.
I guess we all look back through rose tinted glasses, amongst my earliest memories of rail travel is the ‘Brighton Belle’ which ran between London Victoria and Brighton. I both saw it and rode it, the memories are of the twin tracks running side by side through the countryside largely unseen except from bridges or stations.
The gradual electrification of the rail system has brought with it the plethora of overhead cables, gantries, signals etc, these become more noticeable where they bunch a stations and interchanges.
Progress? I wonder what my grandchildren will think in twenty years time.

Couple of meetings either side of walking Paddy, with the RNA it is another period of change but we will take it in our stride. With the rugby club it’s still two paces forward and one back.
