Foaming tree

Very wet and windy day
Spent the morning doing a mantrailing handlers workshop, then took the dogs out for a very soggy walk (not that the dogs cared).
Saw this foam coming out of the trunk of a tree, with some investigation found the "foam forms on the trunks of trees in heavy rains because of chemical interactions similar to those that occur when you make soap. That is, it's like a simple soap made in nature."
