Surprise!

Never.  I couldn't believe my luck.  I had wanted to work on long exposures and smooth out the sea, but it was flat calm.  A walk around Whitehaven harbour instead.  The water in the harbour is still orange.  Another damp day with low cloud again.  The buildings around the harbour have changed from warehouses to flats, so wandering passed a ground floor flat there was my Blip.  'How much is that doggie in the window,'  a 'children's song, back in the day, came to mind!
Next a walk along King Street, the main shopping street with its empty shops half hidden by market stalls.  Another surprise as Whitehaven's market has declined in recent years.  Third surprise was meeting Adam's Godparents.
