Spring Starflower

I had to really focus and search to find flowers in my garden. Plenty snowdrops, but the crocuses were tightly closed on this dreich day. Thankfully the starflowers are starting to appear.

I needed to go to Colinsburgh for petrol this morning so we walked in the wood behind the village. A forester was clearing trees and branches and stopped to chat for a minute. I explained I was enjoying the echo of his chainsaw coming back from the crag behind, but of course he couldn’t hear it with his protective ear shields. When we came out the wood we headed into the football field so Geordie could chase his ball for a while.
The afternoon was spent catching up on emails and reading.
