A Spring Medley
More rain and mist today with yet another yellow warning for rain. I looked around for something to experiment with for my blip. A quick walk around the garden produced this medley, which is at least indicative of Spring! It was inspired, at least in part, by a series of photos in the January edition of the National Geographic magazine. They featured photos by Julya Hajnoczky who has created images of ecosystems as still-lifes against a black background to foster greater appreciation of nature's smaller elements. All the elements here refect the new life emerging in an English, suburban garden. The background used is some translucent textured paper whick I borrowed and laid on some dark green card. The cold background and dark vignette help to convey an impression of Winter slowly morphing into Spring.
