Post Office

We have just watched the docudrama Mr Bates and the PO. It tells the story of the more than 700 sub postmasters who were wrongly accused by the Post Office of fraud, due to faulty software. It’s quite horrifying.
 
Looking for a post office in our travel photos I found this one, the PO in Reeth, Yorkshire, in 2014. Such a cheerful looking PO, you could hardly find a less appropriate illustration for the scandalous miscarriage of justice revealed in the docudrama. Except I suppose that small local post offices like this one may have been particularly vulnerable to the false charges.
 
No, I don’t know why the Reeth PO has red polka dots.
