Challenge Wanaka 2024

This race includes Swimming (1.9k's) Bike (90k) and Run (21.1k)

The race centered around Glendhu Bay (swim), then the competitors rode through Wanaka, out to Lake Hawea, then to Luggate, and back to Glendhu Bay.   I was lucky to get a photo of a cyclist as she passed through Wanaka on the way to Lake Hawea.  She still had a long way to go!  The run was 2 laps of Bike Glendhu track.

This morning I had breakfast with the church ladies, no Eggs Benedict on the menu, so I settled for a couple of poached eggs, which were delicious.  I had a nice stroll around town, catching up with a few friends on the way.  Otherwise it is a lovely day for outside jobs.
