Reiff

Today started with light rain.  We decided to set off on yesterdays route but to go further onto Reiff if the weather was good.  As we left it brightened up, a red squirrel ran across the road and we decided to stop to take reflections in Loch Broom.  We then headed for Stac Pollaidh and took photos from there of Loch Lurgainn, see extras.

We continued along the road stopping to retake photos in the better light.  We eventually made it to Reiff in the late afternoon where we took photos of the derelict house on the beach and then walked up along the grassy meadows to the rocky sandstone outcrops by the sea.  It was lovely light, the air so pure and the ground soft and springy (peat beneath it). A lovely end to the day.

We had a quick drive back as the sun was setting and our last meal in the house.  Tomorrow we sail for Harris and Lewis where the internet may be patchy.
