Blipmeet
Devil's Dyke blipmeet with French Italia.... Great walk and lovely views ( despite mud, sooo much mud). Lots of chatting, with a lot in common.
'Legend has it that the Devil dug this chasm to drown the parishioners of the Weald. On the other hand, scientists believe it was formed naturally just over 10,000 years ago in the last ice age.'
The day started early with me taking R to the dentist in Eastbourne for 8am. Back home and walked to tennis for 9.15, walk back and then managed to lock myself out. Luckily R soon returned (by bus) so off I went for blipmeet.
A beach clean for an hour late afternoon (so much plastic and rope washed up in recent weeks storms). Home for a Skype with my brother for his birthday, dinner cooked, shower and chill.....
Sad news today - our daughter-in-law's father beat pancreatic cancer in 20 20/21....stomach tumour diagnosed today
