Golden Eye

For once, the right conditions and the right lens.  This goldeneye was rather close to the river's edge so I was able to get a few reasonable shots.  They're starting to display, too - there are a few pairs on the river regularly.
Previous to this, I'd walked as far as the lifeboat shed again, where the slate pavements behind the wall were littered with stones cast up by the sea.  Some were small boulders.
