'... and stay out!!'

This American Goldfinch rooster was keeping all but his favourite hens off this feeder today. We just had a rain shower and for some reason lots of birds decided to feed at the same time. NOT at his feeder... he swore at them in American finch language. Very intent & effective was he!
Blip taken through the window screen. For some reason as soon as I lift the screen the birds disappear. I really have to develop a better blind from out of the bedroom window!
