what a load of bull....

..finches.

I've been trying for days to capture the goldfinches that have started coming to the feeders, but they have a kind of sixth sense that there's a camera about. The bullfinches are happy to pose. 

I meant to mention Steve Wright yesterday - I have to say I found him incredibly irritating but there's no denying his influence on British radio, and judging from the reactions of his colleagues he must've been a genuine and generous bloke. A sad loss.
