Croquet ball

Doing one of my 3 daily week visits at mom s elderly home. Didn t find her in her room. She was participating the monthly croquet ball game. She played that a lot with dad when going on travel with their caravan. She still has like this competition spirit. She ended the 9th from the 15 participoants and was not happy. Her neighbour said, oh it is only a game, but for mom still serious business. Afterwards we went back to her room. As she doesnt like to sit in the tearoom or playing scrable, because of het impaired vision, i started to read stories from a book she liked in her childhood. At least it is a meaningfull activity. But in summer months we ll be doing some wheelchair walks.
