This is winter too

Bucketing rain, landslides, pounding king tides, nippy temperatures . . . but spring is beginning to burst out of midwinter. I love it when the wattle blossom explodes, the profusion of golden tresses heralding the sunshine and warmth that's just around the corner. I could hear a buzz around the tree and, going closer, I could see scores of bees supping on the nectar. And this at the house in my street next to the one burning a wood fire yesterday. Gotta love the Nature Coast.
