Even the trees are feeling cold

The area around Manly has been "Yarn Bombed" as a community street art project.

Various trees have been dressed in knitting and crochet in a myriad of colours.

I belong to a group that knit 10 inch squares which get pieced together to create blankets that are donated to charities (both in Australia and the rest of the world).
I am by far the slowest knitter in the group and to tackle anything like this yarn bomb tree would be way beyond anything I could even comprehend.
...and I have no idea what this yarn bombing means or what that white pimple is.....
