swimming up

Son#2 has had a busy few days and featured rather more than usual in my journal. things might be different from today onwards - you never know... :-)

Swimming up:
Once Beaver Scouts reach 8 years old they 'swim up' to Cub Scouts. At our group they hold a little ceremony where the rest of the Beaver Scout colony make an archway for those that are moving on to walk through, before being 'recieved' by the Cub Scout Leader.
