Lunch with friends

We picked up friends Doug and Angela to take them to a pub that had been recommended to them. It was in a built up area on the site of a former brewery. It wasn’t our usual country pub style, it made a change. The food was excellent, we will return! It was fun listening to Doug and Norman reminiscing about the days long ago when they both worked for Shell. As well as recalling the people with whom they worked, as always they talked about prices, when beer was 1/10 a pint!
