A rubbish blip

Prepare for a rant … 

So we are in a climate emergency,  and we are continually being told to recycle, yet, I open the fridge and many items in it have packaging that is not to be recycled.

Why do supermarkets continue to package in this way, and also why does the government allow this to continue. Surely, waxed paper could be used for starters instead of plastic to wrap cheese, butter etc. 

Rant over, have a good day, I’m off to the charity shop now.
