Boston Reflection

It's been a mixed bag today, our last full day of the holiday. Was too hot to walk about so we did some shopping (air conditioned malls!) then had lunch atop the Prudential building. Great views & good food. Big smiles..

Later we had a quick beer at the Quincy Market before heading off in search of some grub. The place we were looking for was shut and the next place was also shut. So we picked a busy looking Italian joint and ended up with our worst meal of the trip, by miles! Should have just had pizza. And I then had to listen to a Bronx Irishman telling people how the Black and Tans were so named because they were made up of African and Indian soldiers. An urban myth in the making....aargh.

So back for a quick last beer in Cheers, ah but no cos it was shut. 9:30 is pretty late I guess. No smiles there.
