Our friends are fellow Christians, so they were happy to come to church with us this morning then, after a light lunch, we went for a walk around Sharon Woods in the sunshine. The sun had brought the turtles out to sunbathe on logs - we counted quite a few as we progressed around the lake. In the evening it was the Super Bowl, Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers. We’re not great football fans, but we do usually watch the Super Bowl as well as our local team if they’re doing well! Jean and Ian apparently often watch it too, so were happy to watch it with us. We weren’t particularly supporting one over the other, but it was the Kansas City Chiefs that won in overtime.
