Robert the Bruce

We went to Stirling today for an RSGS talk about 5 women ‘behind’ the Polar expedition of Robert Falcon Scott. It was very good and enlightening about a different aspect of Polar exploration. We went mid-afternoon and bagged a few Turf zones; it’s fair to say the weather wasn’t great with haar and damp conditions at Robert the Bruce’s statue outside Stirling Castle.
