Spring blossoms

It was raining all morning, so I decided to rather walk Xena later when I returned from golf. Today at golf we did a yardage test using every club in our bag to learn the distance we can hit with each club, so we know what to use when playing on the course. I was hitting very badly today, my elbow was sore and it was one of those off days.

After golf a couple of us went for coffee at the local pub where once again we enjoyed flat whites in front of the roaring fire. 

When I got home it had stopped raining so I took Xena out for a long walk, and took photos of the blossom that is on the trees. It is starting to look very pretty with the blossom appearing again.

Although I know I am intolerant of lactose and gluten, I decided to do a more complete food intolerance test as I have been struggling with my eczema lately, and have other minor complaints that I think could be food related. I bought a test that uses hair samples, although after Hillyblips comments about the food intolerance test she did, I decided to also do one that uses blood samples. This morning I did the blood test and posted it off so it will be interesting to see what comes back. Today I received the results of my hair sample test, which was interesting as some of the food products it indicated that I am intolerant of, I naturally don't like as they cause a tummy ache, like orange juice. 

Today is Valentine's day and so Gavin thought he would treat me to supper at a nearby pub. We don't usually celebrate Valentine's Day by going out, as restaurants usually offer an inflated priced special menu on this day - but the pub we are going to has their normal menu and prices today. Tommy is joining us too so it's not really a romantic meal :)
