Because We're Kin

I'm a proud member of Kin Canada. My club and a member's son set up a sno-pitch tournament to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis - a cause near and dear to our hearts. As the photographer, it meant I was out there in 6 pairs of pants (I had only been back in Canada a month at that point!) 4 sweaters, a winter jacket, scarf and hat I was almost knee deep in snow trying to run to get good shots.
One thing to consider when looking at this picture is that Kin is about having fun, so when someone on the opposite team (a radio station) jokingly handed one of our members a broom ball stick instead of baseball bat, she took it - and she hit the ball too! Everybody was too busy laughing to try and get her out, so she didn't even need to run to the bases.
