Barbara Kruger at The Serpentine

I've been a huge fan of her work since studying for my design degree.

She is an artist who uses graphic design techniques to strip back the layers of hidden persuasion.

She uses found images and quotations in a way that enlightens.

The whole room went "Aaaah" when she juxtaposed Trump with the quote from Austrian writer Karl Kraus: ‘The secret of the demagogue is to make himself as stupid as his audience so that they believe they’re as clever as he is.”
