About to board the 2043 from Euston home to Milton Keynes after a lively day - morning visit to Wolverhampton for a project visit, then to London and the Hayward Gallery for the remarkable and sometimes, to use a technical term, bonkers Alternative Guide to the Universe - a thematically and almost as ambitious complement to the Venice Biennale theme of The Encyclopaedic Palace that we enjoyed two weeks ago - followed by collecting two-and-a-half year-old granddaughter from nursery, watching her enjoy frozen yoghurt and houmous and chicken at the conveniently located Nando's in the same building, then failing utterly to persuade her to go to bed.
