Bombus focus
A lovely warm, sunny evening today. I had decided to grab my camera and take advantage of the great weather and rural surroundings. I was primarily keeping an eye out for the Red-tailed bumblebee Bombus Lapidarius. It appears that these, like many insects right now, have become scarce in some areas of the UK. I had seen a few over the last few days, and one later on today... getting a photo of one is a different matter! They're all fast movers. The bee in this photo looks (to me) like a Buff-tailed bumblebee.
