Blackthorn

This mass of blackthorn blossom greeted me as I arrived at our dentist’s this morning.

I have been suffering from a painful back tooth and wanted to get it checked out. I’ve had to have a couple of teeth extracted over the past two years and I really didn’t want to lose another one. I was therefore very happy to be told that the x-ray showed nothing sinister, there may just be a bit of infection in the sinus area just above the tooth. I was given a prescription for antibiotics to take if the pain worsened, although I’m hoping not to have to use it.

I came home feeling very reassured and then managed to make a good number of men’s birthday cards, which are the hardest ones to design.
