Open research at the Crick Institute

Woke up to find that the rest of the household had been watching the end of the Super bowl until 4.30 am. S was the only one awake by 8. Worked from home first thing and then got the bus to the station. Train to London for a meeting at the Francis Crick Institute near St Pancras. 
Interesting meeting and great to catch up with a few old friends and colleagues. Online meetings are just not the same. My old boss from 10 years ago was there as well as some of the old team. Very nice to have a chat. 
Off peak return ticket meant I was shunted onto the Elizabeth Line trains home. Not too bad and back at Twyford by 6 pm with just enough breathing space to then go out to Crochet club for 7 pm. Spent most of my time trying to find the mistakes that I'd introduced watching the NFL very late on Sunday night. Now all fixed hopefully.
