Another day on Tyneside
Mr H took my dad’s car for its MOT this morning - it passed - and then took his mum into Shields to the banks to try and understand what bank accounts they have. They are making progress.
I started sorting out dad’s kitchen to make it so the things he uses most are the easiest to access.
We then went to visit dad, dropping Mrs H senior at MrH seniors ward and then onto Dad’s ward. Mr H did half an hour visiting each of them. Had a very good conversation with the Doctor on the ward, and dad is being discharged tomorrow.
We had booked a meal for us and Mrs H senior at a local pub, The Harbour Lights, from where this photo is taken. It is one of the ships that takes the Nissan cars built in Sunderland to Europe coming into the river.
Took MiL home and then left Mr H passing on all the information he gained this morning to his siblings while I went to ASDA to stock up for dad.
Why do ASDA only have self scan on an evening. Had more interaction with staff than I would have done if a proper checkout had been open.
To bed soon as another busy day tomorrow!
