Man vs dog

@Xtoph1 and S left fairly early this morning but we managed to get a walk in first.  The sun was low and hazy so the backlight was good.  Sadly he’s talking in every shot so I didn’t get the hero picture I should have demanded!  

The rest of the day was calm.  Did stuff round the house in the morning and then after lunch we walked up on Winchester Hill.  It was cold and a slippy from the mud but good to be out and about. 

Nature notes:- a lot of huge bumble bees about bumping into the hellebores and yesterday I saw a humming bird hawk moth on the Daphne odora.
